New User Interface Features in Knowledge Xpert for Oracle Administration 10.1

• Check for Updates - This feature on the Knowledge Xpert Home page allows you to check for and download new Knowledge Xpert content updates. This enables you to keep your content up-to-date between full releases of the product.
• Enhanced Search - You can now search for a phrase in quotes (for example, enter "database tables" to find all topics that contain this exact phrase).
• Favorites - In addition to adding favorites, version 10.1 enhancements enable you to remove, rename, and organize favorites.
• Comments - This feature reintroduces the ability to add notes and attachments to topics. You can add, edit, or delete comments and share comments with your colleagues through a common directory. Version 10.1 provides an option, at first launch of the product, to migrate any attachments or topic notes from previous versions into comments.
• History - Instead of having the same topic title display repeatedly in the History list, it displays only once with the most recent access date.
• Hot Keys - Additional hot keys provide shortcuts that open Knowledge Xpert menus, print pages, and move quickly through the user interface without the need to use a mouse.

New Content in Knowledge Xpert for Oracle Administration 10.1

Knowledge Xpert for Oracle Administration 10.1 includes two updated and expanded sections for Oracle 11g.

• 11g Instant Scripts - You can use instant scripts for a variety of DBA tasks including object management, backup and recovery, security, and tuning. This version updates these scripts for Oracle 11g. The new scripts can now run without the previously required prerequisite scripts.
• Real Application Clusters (RAC) - This version provides updated and expanded content on RAC for Oracle 11g. Highlights include:
