The current release is v7.5
New in this release- Virtualization - if the database is running in a VMware ESX environment, Spotlight can be configured to monitor any loss of CPU memory due to VMware overheads and raise alarms accordingly
- Flash Cache (Oracle 11gR2) - Spotlight analyzes the Oracle 11gR2 flash cache, if configured, and will raise alarms if use of the flash cache is impacting database performance
- Parallel Execution Queue (Oracle 11gR2) - Spotlight monitors the Oracle 11gR2 parallel execution queue and will raise alarms if the wait time in the queue exceeds a threshold or if too many sessions are waiting in the queue
- I/O Diagnostics - The I/O diagnostics drilldown set has been significantly enhanced to cater to more recent versions of Oracle and provide improved linking of I/O usage to specific wait and file types, SQL and tablespaces (Cluster-wide I/O diagnostics are now available in Spotlight on Oracle RAC)
- Windows Vista and Windows 7 - The Spotlight user-interface is now similar in look-and-feel with Windows Vista and Windows 7 features

- 150 MB of free disk space
- 512 MB of RAM (minimum) (1GB recommended)
- Monitor capable of supporting resolution of 1280x1024 or higher
