- Code Road Map - Completely re-written to provide a highly visual graphical view of code interdependencies and relationships to other objects. This dramatically improves understanding and minimizes the possibility of errors during code maintenance.
- Auto debugging - Some developers prefer to debug their code using standard PL/SQL output statements and manual techniques. Toad now automates the generation of DBMS_OUTPUT statements, dramatically improving productivity.
- Code Refactoring - Has been enhanced to provide developers with more ways to implement coding best practices as they build code.
- Automation Designer - Additional DBA tasks are now automated through the Automation Designer. These include: Data Pump import and export, compare databases, copy table data, generate schema script and generate database script.

Toad for Oracle Professional Edition, Toad for Oracle Xpert Edition, Toad Development Suite and Toad DBA Suite - Data Generator - This feature has been updated, simplifying the ability to save and re-use previous settings and auto-execute (schedule) data load or refresh for greater productivity.
Toad for Oracle Xpert Edition, Toad Development Suite and Toad DBA Suite - Auto Optimize - Provides an extremely simple approach to SQL optimization. While working within the Toad Editor workflow, users can launch the Auto Optimize window to rewrite the current SQL with three easy clicks. Now everyone can optimize SQL regardless of time or skill set.
- SQL Tracker (Server) - The SQL Tracker module is extended in the Xpert edition to also allow users to capture SQL executions coming from applications by watching a development or QA Oracle server (Windows only), and enables troubleshooting and debugging of applications.
Toad for Oracle DB Admin Module, Toad DBA Suite for Oracle and Toad DBA Suite for Oracle – RAC Edition - Oracle Alert Log Viewer - Easier and faster access to Oracle Alert logs, which store a full event history of key activities while the instance is running, for better diagnostics.
- Database Compare - Database Compare now includes server configuration parameter comparison improved productivity and coverage for DBAs who manage multiple servers.
- Oracle 11g R2 features - Support for Editions in Views and Triggers as well as LOB compression.
